Still image analysis

Related imageFrom this image we can see a man in front of another man and walking towards the man in front of him the fact that the man's head is close up from the back could be deliberate as it could be adding to the mood and atmosphere of this particular scene and this could adding to the importance to the character in front of him however the scene is also more focused on his head from the back it appears to be more clear this is the signifier in this scene as he is being approached this could be portraying his isolation and we could think that he is about to be interrogated. This scene is full of colour and hard lighting making it appear more sophisticated however there could be more of juxtaposition between the environment and the man that we can only see the back off. As the setting of this image seems desolate and the main focus is on the man himself this could be personifying his personality and adding to the mood making it seem more significant as the characters within this scene are dressed modish and fashionable which could mean there is a strong relation between the two characters within this scene adding to the Mise en scene within this image. as the shot is from behind the person and is a close up of the back of his head and there is long shot of the person in front of him this could suggest that there is going to be a focus on the character in front as they will come closer . The size of the character in front is portrayed more smaller than the head which is manipulated through the camera on purpose and the lighting the decor around the technology this is determining the mood and relation between these two characters emphasising their importance. As both characters have been given these stylish suits and both are characterised through their costume and this could mean there are clear distinctions between the characters and also seems as the character in front is older then the guy whose head is shown which could point out the key difference between these two characters. The composition of this image has been given great importance as the way this image is structured is that both characters are in deep focus and space which could highlight the characteristics of deep focus within this scene.
