Mise en scene video assessment

Harkiran:

WWW: In this video the make up was professional and it created a dramatic effect for the video which was the key element.

EBI: However the improvement for this video could be the dress and a better song could have been chosen but overall i thought it was really good.

Jack:

WWW: I really like the make up and hair within this video because you could see the change which added to the Mise en scene elements in this video and the lighting and make up c hanged which was really good

EBI: I think that within this video there could have been a costume change and a better setting to add to the Mise en scene for the video.

Jessica

WWW: i really liked the make up which was done in your video as it added to the mise en scene effect within it and the costume change was very well chosen as well.

EBI: For improving your video you could have had better lighting and better setting to add to the mise en scene effect within your video for a better atmosphere.

My star persona video mood board helped me to organise with what i was going to make as it helped me to spread out my ideas and help me understand of how exactly to do this and my video did turn out well as it gave me the idea to use costume lighting and make up to add to the mise en scene within my video these elements really helped me which added to the effects within this video and made it more interesting. However or improving my video i think i could have moved the camera less and extended my video more so it could have looked more realistic and if my movement of the camera was  less so that the video would have looked less horrific. Overall i have learnt that mise en scene is really important within each scene as it could add to the narrative of the scene and the sound also plays a big part within this which adds to the mise en scene because it lets the audience know what type of genre it will be. I believe that for the future i will film my video is advance and make sure  my timings are right so that the planning goes well.

Anisa Statement of Intent second draft: ·          Very solid Statement of Intent that covers the majority of areas required. ·          I think you could add to representation in terms of ethnicity as well as gender (and add some more theory – Butler, Gilroy etc.?) ·          Add an industry context – funding, distribution, digital promotion etc. Trailer rough cut comments: ·          Lots of potential here with some nice jump scares – the fast paced section in the middle is exactly what we’re looking for. ·          You’re missing loads of easy trailer conventions (most text on screen) that will immediately give it more of a trailer feel. ·          Add some dialogue at the start to explain the narrative (estate agent speak...

Listen to this debt advice feature on BBC Sounds. BBC Radio 1: History BBC Radio 1 launched in 1967 playing pop music and using jingles in the style of American radio. It was a significant change from previous BBC content and was hugely popular in the 1970s and 1980s (some shows had 10m+ listeners). It became available on DAB digital radio in 1995 but not promoted until digital radios were more popular in 2002. It is available via digital TV and online via BBC Sounds. Radio 1 is famous for events as well as radio – summer Roadshows, Big Weekends and the annual Teen Awards. Industries: Radio in decline Although the BBC still boasts impressive audience figures for BBC Radio 2 and 4, it has struggled to attract young listeners to BBC Radio 1 in recent years. Since 2010 listeners have declined – and although BBC R1 targets 15-29 year olds the average listener in 2017 was aged 30. Radio 1 is increasingly focusing on digital and social media with 16m weekly YouTube views reac...
