Film poster conventions Do some generic research on film posters. 1) List the key conventions of a film poster. captivating to the audience must have a focal picture  T he title must be eye-catching   Clearly defines film genre Information of director and production country should be provided. Reviews or titles of other films that company has made  2) What makes a film poster instantly recognisable? The image along with the title tagline 3) What are regarded as some of the best film posters of all time? Why? Coursework tutorial

Anisa Coursework checklist: All up-to-date – well done! Statement of Intent final draft: Submitted. Filming latest: Filmed a good amount – may need to re-shoot a few key moments but the majority is filmed. Will try and complete filming this weekend (minus any final re-shoots or additional scenes required when editing). Will edit in school. Print planning: Research and planning process started and will plan to take pictures both on location and in a photoshoot in school. Next steps: ·          Copy and paste this feedback to your Media 2 coursework blog with the title ‘Coursework tutorial feedback and learner response’. ·          Write a brief summary of what you plan to achieve in your coursework project in the next two weeks. Next, I am planning to film the shots of what I need to retake and add and start to shoot images for my tutorial.

Film trailer: Pre-production Script

1) Script:                         The Unexpected Demise: (working title) Anisa Pall Synopsis: establish setting first and show the house with a voice over or dramatic music. 1st) EXT HOUSE-MIDDAY: Different audio sounds with both characters. 2nd) INT HOUSE-MIDDAY:  The house will be shown to the character that is buying the house (Nyrah). She will be thinking to buy this house and gets a discount as it had a previous couple living there who died. 3rd)(Non-believer) The second character(Aria) advises her not to Nyrah still does. Estate Agent gives her advice and  She buys the house. Nyrah asks her friend to come and stay over and help her renovate the house and keep her company. INT HOUSE-EVENING: 4th)Aria comes to overstay they start finding things from the couple that lived there before. Pre-production - Mise-en-scene planning:

Costume What will your characters wear? What is the costume supposed to communicate to the audience? How does this link to your Statement of Intent in terms of creating representations? My characters will wear professional style clothing as they are going to be presented to look older and have jobs. As one of the friends is buying a house so she will have to look like she is working with a good job. The costumes will also change when the friends are going to be shown at different times of day like in the evening in their pyjamas or in casual clothes when together. This links to my statement of intent as the girls are seen as vulnerable in this unknown setting that they have recently moved to. Lighting How will you light your trailer? Day or night?
