1)This image portrays elements of high and low key lighting to convey the film noire aspect of the film as from the poster as there are dramatic shadows created around the women as we can only see the left of her face which means top lighting has been used as this signifies the features of her face very clearly.

2)This poster also depicts key lighting as it is at different angles and shows only half of her face and this could mean that she is hidden form something and could add to the film noire element of this film and i would also say that top lighting is used because her features appear more glamorous.

3) The effects created by the image is that it may want to portray the women as hidden and convey the film noire element of this film to make the audience more engaged with it and allow the audience to know the genre of this film. Some audiences may interpret this in different ways as they may emphasis the fact that the lady could be portrayed more seductively rather than hidden as everyone could have different interpretation.

sound analysis: Blog task

Funny Games: 1) The music suggests that the family is quite high class and formal because they are listening to classical music and playing games. 2) The use of music is diagetic and parallel as it goes with the sort of family they are. 3)I think that the narrative will develop as there might be some sort of danger when they reach their destination as the music played towards the ending of the scene seems quite serious. A Clockwork orange: 1)This scene uses classical music which doesn't go with the scene as it is non diagetic and contrapuntal as we are unable to associate it with the scene. 2)The action in this scene is slow so it could be adding to the tension of this particular scene.
