My Three favourite films:

Click:
One of my favourite films that i saw in media awards was click and i found it interesting of how the action the suitcase and everything was built upon that as it was the main element of this film and was highly focused on it. Furthermore the suitcase also acted as the macguffin which made it even more intriguing for the audience. I also liked the use of action within this film as as it built up tension for the audience and the use of sound was also very effective. This film seems to be a art house film and seems to be aimed at teens and adults. The props were used quite effectively in this film there were also various types of shots that were seen as there were long shots and short shots used and the settings were also very different and there were certain types of lighting used such as low key which added to the enigma. There were certain close up shots seen as well which heightened the emotions. This film also had a linear pattern.

Out of mind:

I found this film very interesting  as it was well established and conveyed much more suspense and really bought attention from the audience and certain reactions. I liked the way the settings were changed quite often highlighting the mise en scene part of this and the characters movement and placement also played a massive role towards it. I liked the fact that there was some sort of mystery linked to it which created suspense. Furthermore this film portrayed different settings and also used various shots to add to the key conventions in this film. There was also diagetic sound used as most objects were making the sounds and there was effective dialogue also used in this film.

Euporia:

This film was also very interesting as it had certain shots that made it look more interesting towards the audience and built up tension and the element of the blood which was used in this film built more tension and got a reaction for the audience. As it was gradually getting worse each time made the audience wonder what was happening and this made it stand out as it also included flashbacks and a systematic journey throughout. This film contained various types of shots as it had long and close up shots a well and was mainly a life story with happy events and how the happiness was gradually degrading the props used was the fake blood used which very effective and there was also parallel sound as it went with the chain of events.

‘Coursework draft tutorial feedback and learner response’.

Anisa Statement of Intent second draft: ·          Very solid Statement of Intent that covers the majority of areas required. ·          I think you could add to representation in terms of ethnicity as well as gender (and add some more theory – Butler, Gilroy etc.?) ·          Add an industry context – funding, distribution, digital promotion etc. Trailer rough cut comments: ·          Lots of potential here with some nice jump scares – the fast paced section in the middle is exactly what we’re looking for. ·          You’re missing loads of easy trailer conventions (most text on screen) that will immediately give it more of a trailer feel. ·          Add some dialogue at the start to explain the narrative (estate agent speak...
